BACKGROUND
The KWI Business Development team seeks a results-driven contractor to help grow our book of business. We estimate 20 hours per week.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Lead Generation:
- Identify and generate new prospects and referral sources through business directories and market research
- Qualify prospects via research, to ensure alignment with KWI’s growth strategy
- Use KWI tools to monitor industry news and trends to inform our outreach efforts
- Manage business development activity pipeline and update related trackers
- Support Business Development leader with weekly team meetings, provide tracking reports and updates on opportunities or information to inform outreach
- Keep up with best practices on sales approach, industry trends and topics of interest
- Identify networking opportunities for KWI
- Keep up with KWI’s work with existing clients to get a better understanding of our work and expertise
- Help build presentations and pitches for prospects
- Collaborate with the appropriate team member when needed support the productization of KWI offerings
- Support other tasks as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
KWI seeks 2 to 4 years of professional experience
Demonstrated experience in:
- Prioritizing tasks and effectively managing time
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Project management
- Building and maintaining relationships
- Working as part of a larger team
Familiarity with:
- Agency work – varied, fast-paced, exciting
Estimated commitment of 20 hours per week
RESOURCES
The Business Development Specialist will be required to use the same systems, software and resources as the KWI account team.
HOURS
The Business Development Specialist is a contract position estimate at 20 hours per week. exempt position.
EXPENSES & PAYMENT
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
